When I was 16, my dad built an art table for me. He had one arm and one leg. Over the years traces of my art were left behind, staining and spotting the table. I never gave it a second thought to keep it clean. I always thought about sanding and painting it brand new like the day he gave it to me, so proud. I was suddenly stopped by the enlightenment that this table was exactly how he would have wanted it to be, inspired, loved, and used. I decided to wipe it off, and keep it just as it is and think about my dad every time I use it. I miss you Daddy.

“Heather Wild Lowry is a professional artist who is very talented and accomplished. I have had her do extensive work for me in my home and she has done it on time and was very faithful to the project until it was done. I have been most pleased with her work and have had many compliments on it. It has held up well and continues to delight me and others.

While she was in Memphis she was asked to paint Egyptian hieroglyphics and figures on huge walls and entrances of our downtown Pyramid in preparation for an exhibition that brought in not only the mummy of King Tut but also many artifacts that were in his tomb. It was a tremendous job; an amazing accomplishment. She did extensive research on the hieroglyphs and was aware of the content of what she was painting.

She has done work for some of the most prominent interior decorators in Memphis. She has painted walls in restaurants and many other places as well. I have known Heather for many years. She is most dependable, thorough and is a woman of very high principles. She is extremely trustworthy and professional. Memphis lost a wonderful asset to our city when Heather moved to Colorado.” – Carol Oates
